Interesting piece in the Star-Ledger about Frazier and his once playing in the Little League World Series, including quotes from some of his coaches throughout formative years.

Mods, in looking at the article again, I see the first bent is Frazier's ROY chances. If you want to move this to that thread and close this one out, I'm fine with that.

BTW, you have to love the old pic of Todd in the LLWS. He still reacts like this (see last night's DP; Cozart to Phillips to Frazier.

Great read, thanks redsmetz.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
Thanks for posting that article, RM. Even if Frazier wins a World Series someday I would say that run in the LLWS would be his most favorite time of life. I'm sure I watched that LL final in 1993 but I don't remember Frazier. I wish I had known that ESPN Classic had replayed that game. I would have liked to watched and took notice of Frazier to see how much of his mannerisms are still the same today.
Reds Fan Since 1971
A few more F bombs today though.
As I've said many times, I have a bias towards Todd being an NJ native as well as being around my age. I remember the hoopla around the Toms River team
and it's way cool to have one of their players, especially one as talented as Frazier, on my favorite team.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
