We got beat down pretty good so I'm not gonna take too much from this game. But I will say the 3-4 hole can't be this ice cold. Even if temporary till they get it going, gotta adjust the lineup to get some guys swinging a hotter bat up there.

Steer may end up being the best hitter of all the Reds. He needs to improve from last year against RHP. Off to a great start against them.

For the record. I would hit Steer 3 or 4 against all pitchers till he slumped badly.
But I know no MLB manager is likely to have a knee jerk reaction over 11 games now.
If they were 2 and 9 then he might change something. If it continues he definitely will change something.

Vs RHP? Benson, and a hot 10 games doesn’t change that (and Benson has been hot too)

Smallest crowd of the year? Saw rain in forecast again for tomorrow.

Calling Candelario Moose 2.0 is an insult to Moose 1.0.

I still think it's time to bat Elly 2nd, followed by Steer then Fraley then CES.. Candy is looking worse than Moose. At least Moose had power

Watching the game from a bar with no sound... was it me? Seems like 5 out of every 6 pitches Spier threw were 92mph...

A wise man once said you gotta try to win the winnable games... completely agree with burning up the kid for 4 innings before sending him down. Why use 3-4 bullpen arms praying for an 8 run bomb

He should get a good lesson watching film tonight with his coach

Thunderstorms, lightning and flooding possible Wednesday for Reds vs. Brewers
Storms are brewing in Greater Cincinnati.

According to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service office in Wilmington, multiple rounds of showers with embedded thunderstorms are expected Wednesday. Severe storms are not likely, but lightning is a potential threat. Additional rainfall may result in areas of localized flooding or exacerbate river and stream flooding.

Isolated to scattered severe storms may develop on Thursday. Localized flooding will be possible with multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms.
