Niners get a safety because Lamar trips over the ref. Kind of ridiculous.
Tough break but at the same time it was going to take a Herculean effort to get that ball past the line of scrimmage because Lamar was going to get hit even if the ref wasn't in the way. Dumb to retreat that far to the end zone.

They weren't going to get him in the end zone without the ref flying in at his legs.
Lamar's awareness on that play was terrible. He lost like 15 yards by himself on that play. That is all on him.
