IU has played Tennessee four times, and prevailed in each encounter.

I remember that last encounter in 1985. I was a student at UT. It was in the NIT and not televised. I listened to it on the radio with a bunch of buddies. I recall IU had a big man from eastern Europe, Uve Blaab. Not sure of the spelling

'84-'85 was a weird year for IU basketball.

Was going to come here and say the same thing. This is not the best MD team, but IU looked dominant and it's still a conference win. Hopefully things are starting to gel together. Curious to see if they get any ranking votes next week.

Exactly. Also, IU has looked pretty bad at home against some pretty bad teams. So getting the dub and looking good un the process was exciting as a fan.

Big one tonight in Ann Arbor. A road win would be huge. But I ain't feeling good about it.

No, tonite will be a tough one. Buuuuuut, if they do manage to pull this one out, it would change my view of the season for sure.

If we are to separate ourselves from 2nd tier conference teams we need to win at a 4-4 Michigan.

Agreed...and would be a solid win on a tourney resume come March. Not a quad 1 for sure, but would be a solid win.

Damn....Vegas has Michigan by 7 1/2 points. I may have to take IU and the points on that.

Who are doing better than expected, I'm surprised. Dug McDaniel is having himself a time so far
